The Seaward Apollo 500+ PAT Tester Elite Bundle Kit includes the following products:
For further information regarding these products, please see the descriptions below.
This instrument has been optimised for conducting extensive checks on high-volumes of portable appliances. It features a comprehensive onboard memory (10 000-record capacity) and the following measurement capabilities:
In addition to this, the Seaward Apollo 500+ PAT Tester is capable of performing point-to-point fixed appliance testing for earth continuity and insulation resistance. This instrument’s extensive measurement capabilities make the Seaward Apollo 500+ PAT Tester suitable for ensuring compliance with the IET 5th Edition Code of Practice. These electrical and visual tests can be organised into up to 100-customised sequences, allowing the user to tailor the tester to his/her requirements.
Adding to this instrument’s practicality is the inclusion of an integrated electrical risk assessment tool with a retest calculator, allowing the user to determine suggested retest periods.
Further to this, the Seaward Apollo 500+ PAT Tester, when used with the below Seaward Test ‘n’ Tag Elite Bundle Kit and/or Seaward’s FREE QR Data Viewer App, can be used to read, create and print 2D QR codes. This facilitates quicker retesting and allows the user to manage appliances more effectively.
Firmware Features
This instrument’s firmware update also adds to the practicality and efficiency of the Seaward Apollo 500+ PAT Tester. The following updates add to the versatility of this instrument and allow the user to tailor it to his/her preferences:
The new 5th Edition firmware will also be available to download free of charge for current Apollo users who will be able to update to the new firmware and benefit from the new test features.
Note: in existing Apollos touch current tests will be limited by the hardware to 3.5mA.
Software Compatibility
Improvements to the Seaward Apollo 500+ PAT Tester’s software compatibility also facilitates the user‘s ability to review results, as well as create reports using the collected data. These capabilities are made possible by the Seaward Apollo 500+ PAT Tester’s compatibility with Seaward’s PAT Guard 3.4 Software with Time Manager (NOT included). This software can also be used to manage teams of workers.
Alternatively, results can be sent to compatible smartphones and/or tablets via Bluetooth.
Hardware Features
Results are also viewable via the Seaward Apollo 500+ PAT Tester’s high-definition, colour display. Furthermore, the Seaward Apollo 500+ PAT Tester can be operated using its full QWERTY keyboard. The Seaward Apollo 500+ PAT Tester shares these features with the Seaward Apollo 500.
However, the design of this instrument differs from its predecessor with the inclusion of an interchangeable, rechargeable battery pack. This PAT tester can be powered using its battery pack or via a mains supply thereby ensuring that downtime is kept to a minimum.
Further to this, the Seaward Apollo 500+ PAT Tester is supplied with a test leads featuring stronger PVC insulation and resilient test probes, making the instrument better suited to challenging environments and more demanding applications.
The Seaward Apollo 500+ PAT Tester is an adaptable, practical, reliable PAT Tester ideal for comprehensively checking high-volumes of portable appliances.
The 2020 5th edition hardware update also allows for the increase in protective and touch leakage limits to 5mA rather than 3.5m.A.
The Seaward Test ‘n’ Tag Elite Bundle Kit can be used with the Seaward Apollo 500+ PAT Tester in order to read, create and print 2D QR codes.
This kit includes:
The Seaward Test ‘n’ Tag Elite Bundle Kit is ideal for extending the capabilities of the Seaward Apollo 500+ PAT Tester.
