Sauter TU 80-0.01US Premium Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge

The Sauter TU 80-0.01 US Premium Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge is suitable for testing all hard and homogenous materials.

This ultrasonic thickness gauge can be set to measure in either mm or inches and has a maximum measurement range of 80mm. It also features a zero adjustment feature, ensuring that accurate measurements can be achieved during each test.

The Sauter TU 80-0.01 US Premium Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge can be calibrated in accordance with a variety of values, including a known thickness, or known sound velocity. This product is supplied with a calibration block in order to facilitate the former mode of calibration. The Sauter TU 80-0.01US is also capable of two-point calibration.

The Sauter TU 80-0.01US’s can be tailored to the user’s needs. Its forte is single-point measurements, taking four accurate measurements per second, however, this product has also been optimised to conduct measurement tests of larger surfaces and the Scan mode facilitates this ability. In this mode, the Sauter TU 80-0.01US Premium Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge can take and display ten measurements per second.

Another feature present on the Sauter TU 80-0.01US Premium Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge is the Limit Value function which allows the user to pre-program upper and lower measurement limits. If these limits are breached (when this function is active) an audible and visual alarm will sound eradicating the need to constantly check the display, thereby improving the user’s efficiency.

The Sauter TU 80-0.01 US Premium Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge has an internal memory capable of storing up to twenty files containing one hundred measurements per file and has a RS 232 interface which can be used to connect this product to a printer or PC.

With its robust, metal casing and external sensor, the Sauter TU 80-0.01US Premium Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge is suitable for use in rugged environments and is capable of taking measurements even within tight and/or difficult-to-reach spaces.
