The Sauter TU 230-0.01US Premium Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge can be set to measure in mm or inches and has a maximum measurement range of 230mm. This ultrasonic thickness gauge can be used to measure all hard and homogenous materials.

The accuracy of measurement is at the forefront of this ultrasonic thickness meter’s design, and so it features a Zero Adjust function, and three different calibration options, including two-point calibration; known thickness calibration; and known sound velocity calibration. This product is supplied with a calibration block.

Versatility-of-use and efficiency are also key features of this product and are achieved through the Sauter TU 230-0.01US’ Limit Value, Single Point Measurement, and Scan Measurement functions.

The Limit Value function increases the user efficiency, as it removes the need to perpetually check the display in order to keep track of the thickness values detected. By activating this function and setting minimum and maximum values, the Sauter TU 230-0.01 Premium Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge reviews each measurement as it is taken, alerting the user with a visual and audible alarm when a measurement in excess of the pre-programmed limits is detected.

In addition to this function, the Sauter TU 230-0.01US Premium Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge, though optimised for single-point measurement, can be set to take scan measurements of large surface areas via activating the Scan function. Once this is activated the Sauter TU 230-0.01US increases the number of measurements taken and displayed per second from four to ten, easily detecting the thinnest point on the surface being tested.
