Sauter TN X-0.1US. Ultrasonic Material Thickness Gauges – Choice of Model

The Sauter TN X-0.1US. Ultrasonic Material Thickness Gauges can be used to measure the thickness of all hard and homogenous materials. These thickness gauges function by emitting an ultrasonic pulse from the external sensor; the instrument then times the period it takes for the ultrasonic waves to travel through the test object, be reflected and then returned to the gauge in order to ascertain a thickness measurement. 

The Sauter TN X-0.1US. Ultrasonic Material Thickness Gauges are available in three models with different measurement ranges; please see the table below for further details.

The user is able to view thickness measurements in either mm or inches and to a resolution of 0.1mm. The Sauter TN X-0.1US. Ultrasonic Material Thickness Gauges’ resolution separates them from their sister products, the Sauter TN X-0.01US. Ultrasonic Material Thickness Gauges, which have a resolution of 0.01mm.

Measurements may be saved to the Sauter TN X-0.1US. Ultrasonic Material Thickness Gauges’ internal memories. They have the capacity to store up to twenty files with one-hundred values in each file.

These instruments are also equipped with a Scan mode allowing the user to take ten measurements a second. Further to this, the Sauter TN X-0.1US. Ultrasonic Material Thickness Gauges’ Zeroing function ensures that the user is able to conduct measurements efficiently, accurately and repeatedly.

These gauges are supplied in a robust carrying case and equipped with two 1.5V AA batteries; they feature an Auto-Off function for preserving the battery life thereby reducing downtime.
