Sauter TN X-0.01US Ultrasonic Material Thickness Gauges – Choice of Model

The Sauter TN X-0.01US Ultrasonic Material Thickness Gauges can be used to measure the thickness of all hard and homogenous materials using ultrasonic technology.

These thickness meters differ from their sister products, the Sauter TN X-0.1US Ultrasonic Material Thickness Gauges, in that they able to indicate measurements to a maximum resolution of 0.01mm as opposed to 0.1mm. However, like their sister products these thickness gauges are available in three models with different measurement ranges. The Sauter TN X-0.01US Ultrasonic Material Thickness Gauges ascertain thickness measurements by emitting ultrasonic pulses from the external sensor into the test object; they then time the period it takes for the ultrasonic waves to travel through the object and be reflected back to the gauge. Measurements may be displayed in either mm or inches.

Data can be saved to the Sauter TN X-0.01US Ultrasonic Material Thickness Gauges’ internal memories; these instruments have the capacity to save up to twenty files with one-hundred values in each file. Furthermore, unlike their sister products, the Sauter TN X-0.01US Ultrasonic Material Thickness Gauges are equipped with a USB interface for transferring information to a PC or printer.

In addition to an extensive memory and USB interface, the Sauter TN X-0.01US Ultrasonic Material Thickness Gauges are equipped with a Scan mode, for taking ten measurements per second, and a Zeroing function for conducting tests accurately, efficiently and repeatedly.

Moreover, these instruments are equipped with an Auto-off function for preserving battery life and are supplied with two 1.5V AA batteries. The Sauter TN X-0.01US Ultrasonic Material Thickness Gauges are also supplied with a robust carrying case.
