The Sauter TC 1250.0.1FN-CAR Digital Coating Thickness Gauge is designed for measuring the thickness of non-magnetic coatings on magnetic metals (F mode) and the thickness of insulating coatings on non-magnetic metals (N mode). It will automatically recognise which measuring mode is required and will adjust itself accordingly. This means that the user needs only ‘point and shoot’ to ascertain accurate coating thicknesses.
The Sauter TC 1250.0.1FN-CAR Digital Coating Thickness Gauge’s dual measurement modes and simple, 1-key operation make it ideal for use in the automotive industry.
The user is able to determine and view measurements in either µm or mil. He/she may also use the focus function to adjust the thickness gauge on the locally measured range by a two-point calibration, providing the user with an accuracy of 1% of the measured range. In addition to this function, the Sauter TC 1250.0.1FN-CAR Digital Coating Thickness Gauge also features a Zeroing function ensuring that the instrument can be used reliably repeatedly.
Data acquired using the Sauter TC 1250.0.1FN-CAR Digital Coating Thickness Gauge can be exported using the included RS-232 interface. This instrument is also supplied with a base plate and calibration foils, as well as a robust carrying case and four 1.5V AAA batteries.
