The Sauter HMO Mobile Leeb Hardness Tester is a professional test meter suitable for measuring the hardness of materials such as metals. It is equipped with an external type-D impact sensor that is connected to the display unit and has a measuring range of 170-960 HL.
The externally connected type-D impact sensor facilitates greater flexibility and mobility; 360° mobility and an automatic compensation function allow the user to conduct measurements accurately from all directions. The Sauter HMO Mobile Leeb Hardness Tester is also supplied with a calibration block, allowing the user to maintain the instrument’s specified accuracy.
Measurements are automatically converted into the user’s specified hardness unit; the Sauter HMO Mobile Leeb Hardness Tester is able to display measurements in Rockwell (B & C), Vickers (HV), Brinell (HB), Leeb (HL), and tensile strength (MPa).
Results, as well as the date and time, are indicated via the Sauter HMO Touchscreen Hardness Tester’s innovative, touchscreen display. Hardness values can also be saved to the meter’s internal memory (capacity for eight-hundred values).
Saved measurements can be sent to a compatible printer (see ‘Accessories’) or PC via the Sauter HMO Touchscreen Hardness Tester’s USB interface. The USB interface can also be used to charge the tester’s internal battery pack. This power source is able to provide the meter with up to fifty hours of power. This instrument can also be powered by the included mains adapter when necessary.
Alternatively, information can be sent to a PC or compatible printer wirelessly via the tester’s infrared data-transfer interface.
In addition to measuring hardness in the user’s desired measurement unit, the Sauter HMO Mobile Leeb Hardness Tester also features a number of statistical functions including:
This can also be configured to include upper and lower measurement limits and will issue an audible and visual alarm when these limits are breached.
The Sauter HMO Mobile Leeb Hardness Tester is supplied in a robust carrying case and is ideal for a variety of professional applications.
