Sauter FH-S Universal Digital Force Gauge – Internal Measuring Cell

These models, unlike their sister products the Sauter FH-M Universal Digital Force Gauges, are equipped with an internal measuring cell. Each of these models is suitable for measuring tension and compression forces using any of the following measurement units: N, lb or kg.

The Sauter FH-S Digital Force Gauges feature Peak-Hold and Track measurement modes. When the gauges are set to Peak-Hold mode they will retain the highest detected measurement; when set to Track mode, the Sauter FH-S Digital Force Gauges will update the measurement indicated on the display every ten seconds, ensuring that the user is always able to view the most current reading.

Other measurement functions present on the Sauter FH-S Digital Force Gauges include a zeroing function, and programmable upper- and lower-limit alarms in both push and pull directions; when the alarms are triggered the Sauter FH-S Digital Force Gauges will issue an audible and visual alert. They also feature a variety of statistical features: these instruments can be used to determine the minimum and maximum recorded values and can calculate an average value using the ten measurements saved to the gauge’s integrated memory.

The Sauter FH-S Digital Force Gauges have the capacity to save up to ten measurements to their integrated memories. Saved measurements can be sent to a PC or compatible Kern printer (NOT included, see ‘Accessories’) using the RS-232 interface.

Live or saved measurements are viewable via the Sauter FH-S Digital Force Gauges’ high-resolution (up to 10 000 points), turnable, backlit displays. The Sauter FH-S Digital Force Gauges are equipped with a number of practical design features: they can be attached to all of Sauter’s test stands and are supplied with a 90mm extension rod and Sauter’s standard AC 43 attachments.

They also include a rechargeable, integrated battery pack that is able to provide the gauges with up to twelve hours of power (without a backlight). Each gauge is also equipped with an Auto-Power-Off feature, which helps to prolong the battery’s life. Furthermore, all of the Sauter FH-S Digital Force Gauges can be powered using the supplied mains adapters. Both the Auto-Power-Off function and mains adapter help to reduce the Sauter FH-S Digital Force Gauges’ downtime.
