Sauter FH-M Universal Digital Force Gauge – External Measuring Cell

The Sauter FH-M Universal Digital Force Gauge – External Measuring Cell is available in seven models with different measurement ranges; please see the table below for further information.

Unlike the Sauter FH-S Universal Digital Force Gauges, the Sauter FH-M Universal Digital Force Gauges are equipped with an external measuring cell. They can be used to conduct compression and tension tests and to this end are supplied with tension loops and compression plates.

The Sauter FH-M Universal Digital Force Gauges feature selectable measurement units, the user can choose from N, kN, kg, t and lb. They also include an array of measurement functions including:

• Peak-Hold – retains the maximum measurement
• Track – continually updates the measurement displayed, ensuring that the user is supplied with the most current measurement (updated every ten seconds)
• Alarm – upper- and lower-limit alarms can be programmed for push and pull directions; when triggered the gauge will issue an audible and visual alert
• Statistics – calculates the minimum, maximum, n, and average values using the ten saved measurements

The Sauter FH-M Universal Digital Force Gauges also feature a zeroing function for resetting the display to nought.

Up to ten measurements can be saved to the Sauter FH-M Universal Digital Force Gauges’ internal memories. These measurements can be transferred to a PC or sent to print via their RS-232 interfaces.

The Sauter FH-M Universal Digital Force Gauges feature backlit, turnable, high-resolution displays (up to 10 000 points) for viewing live and saved measurements. It also features a 3m cable, a rechargeable, internal battery and mains adapter. 

The internal battery is able to provide the Sauter FH-M Universal Digital Force Gauges with up to twelve hours of power (without backlight); alternatively, these instruments can be powered using the mains adapter, allowing the user to tailor the gauges to the application, as well as reduce their downtime. Also helping to reduce the instruments’ downtime is their Auto-Power-Off function.
