The Sauter 285-897 is a drag pointer for spring balances.
- Made of a plastic ring with smooth-sliding Teflon coating
- Application: Push the drag pointer to the zero point before taking the measurement. When the load is placed on the balance the drag pointer moves alongside and remains at the maximum force for each measurement process
