Robin Amprobe KMP7036 Insulation Tester
Regular testing of insulation is essential to ensure that electrical circuits function correctly and safely. Robin-Amprobe's KMP7036 is used to accurately measure the insulation of wires, cables, transformers and electrical motors to diagnose problems and prevent insulation breakdown before it becomes a more significant problem.
Ideal for both commercial and residential areas, this tester includes three selectable test voltages of 250V, 500V and 1000V. By holding down the test button on the unit it is also possible to perform a dielectric absorption ratio test and continuity testing can also be performed at 200mA.
When live circuits are detected the KMP7036 will shine a red light warning and provide a voltage measurement from 30V to 750V AC. When testing is completed the KMP7036 will automatically discharge the object under test to ensure user safety.
A data hold function on the tester allows a reading to be temporarily stored on the LCD screen (which is backlit for use in darkened conditions).
This product is CAT III 600V safety rated.
