This set of three RDL 400/5A Split Core Current Transformers is suitable for measuring current flow in commercial, industrial, and utility systems. RDL's split-core single-phase current transformers connect to any standard metering or relay instrument requiring a 5A output and support a primary current input of 400A. Housed in a moulded case, the RDL 400/5A Split Core Current Transformer is 89mm wide and has an aperture of 20x30mm. It is designed to ensure easy installation into existing plants where the removal of busbars or cable lugs would be impractical. To aid with this and minimise installation errors, it features clear markings to indicate the direction of the primary current flow.
