An advanced and capable precision cable detector, the Radiodetection RD8200 Cable & Pipe Locator can be used to prevent damage and improve operational efficiency. Swing Warning System

To ensure accurate measurements/tracking, the Radiodetection RD8200 Cable & Pipe Locator must be kept perpendicular to the ground. A built-in gyroscope alerts the user when there is excessive swing.

Audio & Vibration Alerts

High-performance audio and visual alerts make the Radiodetection RD8200 Cable & Pipe Locator suitable for use in noisy environments. A waterproof speaker faces the user. It is tuned to issue audible alerts at five selectable power output audio levels. Additionally, the Radiodetection RD8200 Cable & Pipe Locator’s handle will vibrate when alerts are activated ensuring you don’t miss a thing.

Self-Test

The Self-Test function ensures that the Radiodetection RD8200 Cable & Pipe Locator’s locating circuitry, display, and power functions are working correctly. This improves testing integrity and safety.

Current Direction

CD signals issued from a Tx-10 Transmitter (sold separately) can be used to identify your target amongst several parallel utilities. CD arrows are displayed on the Radiodetection RD8200 Cable & Pipe Locator to confirm that you are tracing the correct line.

Power Filters

The Radiodetection RD8200 Cable & Pipe Locator uses the harmonic properties of power signals to determine whether the signal is coming from one source or from multiple sources. This is particularly helpful when tracing individual power lines through dense networks in areas where transmitters cannot be connected.

Dynamic Overload Protection

Custom Frequencies

The Radiodetection RD8200 Cable & Pipe Locator can be matched to specific telecom networks. Up to five additional frequencies can be programmed onto the RD8200 Locator allowing you to pair it with the signals found on your target networks.

Dual Bluetooth Connectivity
