Industrial Grade Display: transflective low power LCD technology uses ambient light to improve screen readability in direct sunlight; this makes the RD7200 Locator suitable for use outside and extends its battery life.
TruDepth Display: the precise and most up-to-the-moment measurement is indicated on the screen only when the RD7200 Locator is oriented above the target.
Swing Warning System: a built-in gyroscope ensures correct usage as it alerts the user to excessive swing, allowing you to keep the instrument perpendicular to the ground.
StrikeAlert™: available in both active and passive locating modes, this function provides visual and audible warnings of shallow cables.
Audio Alerts: a waterproof speaker faces the user and issues noise alerts in a range of selectable utility-specific frequencies and five alterable sound levels.
Vibration Feedback: the RD7200 locator’s handle vibrates when alerts are activated, ensuring you don’t miss any warnings.
Self-Test: verifies the functionality of the Radiodetection RD7200 Cable & Pipe Locator; it applies signals to the locating circuitry and checks the display and power functions.

Additionally, the Radiodetection RD7200 Cable & Pipe Locator is equipped with power filters and compass orientation.
