The Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XL50 Thermal Imaging Riflescope is a thermal imaging weapon scope suitable for use with a variety of high-impact rifles.
To deliver revolutionary HD-quality thermal imaging, the Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XL50 Thermal Imaging Riflescope is fitted with a 1024 x 768px thermal sensor. Consequently, the outlines and characteristics of animals are distinguishable and easy to identify.
A germanium F50/1.0 objective lens also works to ensure sharp and precise imaging across the field of view. The Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XL50 Thermal Imaging Riflescope’s large-format sensor delivers a wide field of view perfect for quick scanning and spotting. Ergonomic focusing wheels on either side of the weapon scope make focusing easy.
Furthermore, ground-breaking thermal image processing consisting of adjustable sensor sensitivity amplification as well as filtration algorithms mean imaging is crisp in all weather conditions. Adjustable amplification ensures the animal’s characteristics remain sharp without compromising the clarity of other objects and the background.
Offering a variable magnification between 1.75x and 14x (x8 digital zoom), the Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XL50 Thermal Imaging Riflescope provides improved focus and overall object recognition from significant distances. The zoom can be adjusted in x2 intervals or continuously for a customisable field-of-view/magnification. Regardless, the Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XL50 Thermal Imaging Riflescope’s HD sensor maintains detail across the entire magnification range.
Zoom in on the target without losing the entire field of view. The Picture-in-Picture frame displays the magnified target and the reticle.
Eight selectable thermal colour palettes allow you to tailor the Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XL50 Thermal Imaging Riflescope to your application or environment:
Altering the brightness and contrast settings allows you to maximise the detail displayed throughout the image. The User Mode function also enables you to save selected brightness and contrast settings to the Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XL50 Thermal Imaging Riflescope for easy access.
The Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XL50 Thermal Imaging Riflescope is fitted with a compact, precise laser rangefinder with a range of up to 800m. It indicates the distance to the target while the integrated ballistics algorithm calculates the suggested POA.
Choose from ten reticle configurations and functions, such as direct shot type, ballistic, scalable, and regular. All of these are available in nine colours.
Save up to ten shooting profiles for use with different types of weapons. Each of these profiles may contain a maximum of ten zeroing distances which can be turned into automatic ballistic calculations using measured distances and the Stream Vision Ballistics App.
In addition to shooting profiles, hours of footage and thousands of images may be saved to the Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XL50 Thermal Imaging Riflescope’s built-in 64Gb memory.
It is also possible to stream footage via built-in Wi-Fi (2.4/5 GHz) to an Android/iOS smartphone or tablet with the Stream Vision 2 App installed. Furthermore, the app and Wi-Fi interface can also be used to update the riflescope’s software as well as operate it remotely. Users registered within the app will also receive Cloud storage.
Alternatively, users may operate the Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XL50 Thermal Imaging Riflescope via the included wireless remote. The buttons duplicate the most used functions while the encoder operates fine adjustment and menu navigation.
The Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XL50 Thermal Imaging Riflescope is waterproof and suitable for use in temperatures as wide-ranging as -25°C and +50°C. It features a frost-resistant AMOLED display which delivers a quick response time, perfect for tracking animals in motion. Additionally, the Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XL50 Thermal Imaging Riflescope has a high-impact-resistant design making it suitable for use with smooth-bore and pneumatic weapons as well as rifled hunting weapons with calibres of 9.3x64, .30-06, .300, and .375H&H. Compatibility with 30mm rings ensures the Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XL50 Thermal Imaging Riflescope can be mounted on hunting weapons using proven ring solutions.
Easy, quick, precise battery replacement is also assured by the Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XL50 Thermal Imaging Riflescope’s ergonomic, embossed design. It is powered by two rechargeable batteries: a built-in 4.9Ah battery and a replaceable battery. The Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XL50 Thermal Imaging Riflescope is supplied with two replaceable batteries (2Ah and 3.2Ah). Together the integrated and replaceable battery delivers an operating time of up to ten continuous hours.
The Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XL50 Thermal Imaging Riflescope is a sophisticated yet simple-to-use infrared imaging scope.
