Detect and prevent suspicious activity with minimal risk and effort, the Pulsar Lexion XP38 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope is a highly sensitive thermal imaging monocular with an advanced <40mk thermal sensor and an uncooled micro-bolometric matrix with a 640 x 480px IR resolution (at 17µm). It delivers high-quality, high-resolution, richly contrasted images with precise detail recognition even in challenging weather conditions such as rain and fog, and when thermal contrast is low. Please see the video below for a brief introduction to the Pulsar Lexion XP38 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope.
The Pulsar Lexion XP38 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope’s powerful objective lens and professional-grade thermal imaging sensor facilitate a detection range of up to 1350m (for a 1.8m-tall object), even in complete darkness.
The rangefinding reticle measures the distance to objects with a known height (1.7m, 0.7m or 0.3m).
Software algorithms increase imaging clarity and overall image detail, providing a sharper, more detailed field-of-view, and enhancing object recognition.
The Pulsar Lexion XP38 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope includes eight colour palettes optimised for various purposes:
The Pulsar Lexion XP38 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope has a refresh rate of 50Hz making it both comfortable to use and capable of providing fluid imaging of fast-moving targets.
AMOLED technology delivers flawless, fluid, high-resolution imaging while saving power. The display provides a crisp, richly contrasted, and vividly coloured field-of-view.
The Display Off function prevents light from escaping the eyepiece between observation sessions. This function does not affect other settings or systems, enabling the Pulsar Lexion XP38 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope to be powered back on quickly the moment it is needed.
The built-in recorder enables video and image capture. Files can be saved to the Pulsar Lexion XP38 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope’s internal memory and may be transferred to a PC or laptop via a wired or wireless interface.
Via the StreamVision App and a Wi-Fi connection, the user can stream footage from the Pulsar Lexion XP38 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope to an Android or iOS smartphone or tablet or to YouTube. This helps to facilitate effective collaboration between operatives. Additionally, via this connection or an OPTIONAL wireless remote control with an encoder wheel, the user can operate the Pulsar Lexion XP38 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope remotely. Furthermore, using an iOS or Android smartphone/ tablet and the Stream Vision App, the Pulsar Lexion XP38 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope’s software can be updated.
The Pulsar Lexion XP38 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope is designed to withstand shocks, stress, heavy rain, and snowfall. It is contained within a rugged, reinforced, IPX7 housing and remains operable in temperatures as low as -25°C due to its frost-resistant AMOLED display.
The Pulsar Lexion XP38 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope is equipped with a progressive, autonomous B-pack power supply consisting of a quick-detach, rechargeable IPS7, 6.4 A-h battery pack capable of delivering over ten hours of operating time in Maximum mode. The Pulsar Lexion XP38 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope is also compatible with IPS14 battery packs and AA battery cases.
A micro-USB jack enables charging via a power bank. Charging using this method facilitates quicker start-up during cold weather and protects the source from rapid discharge.
The Pulsar Lexion XP38 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope is a highly sensitive, resilient, and easy-to-use infrared-imaging monocular optimised for professional markets.
