The Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope is an infrared-imaging scope featuring an advanced NETD <40mK thermal sensor and an uncooled micro-bolometric matrix with a 640 x 480px resolution (at 17µm). It is specifically designed for easily and safely detecting and preventing suspicious behaviour. To this end, the Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope provides high-quality, high-resolution, richly contrasted thermal images with precise detail recognition in challenging weather conditions, such as rain and fog, and in situations with low thermal contrast. For a quick introduction to Pulsar’s Lexion Thermal Imaging Monocular Scopes, please see the following video.
The Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope has a detection range of 1000m (for a 1.8m object) in total darkness. This is facilitated by a powerful objective lens and professional-grade thermal imaging sensor.
The rangefinding reticle calculates the distance to objects with a known height (1.7m, 0.7m, or 0.3m).
Enhanced object recognition and a sharper, more detailed field-of-view, are made possible by software algorithms that improve image clarity and detail.
The Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope includes the following colour palettes:
A rapid refresh rate of 50Hz delivers fluid thermal imaging allowing users to monitor fast-moving targets.
Via the Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope’s frost-resistant, power-saving AMOLED display, users can view flawless, fluid, high-resolution imaging with a crisp, richly contrasted field-of-view.
The Display Off function prevents light from escaping the Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope’s eyepiece. This function doesn't affect the scope’s other settings or systems which means the Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope can be powered on quickly when required.
Capture and save videos and images to the Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope’s internal memory. Saved files may be transferred to a laptop or PC via a wired or wireless interface.
Wireless communication means footage can be streamed wirelessly to an Android/ iOS smartphone/ tablet with the Stream Vision App installed, or to YouTube. Additionally, wireless remote operation is possible using a smartphone/ tablet and the Stream Vision App or using a remote control with an encoder wheel. Furthermore, the Stream Vision App provides software updates for the Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope.
A frost-resistant AMOLED display ensures the Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope can be used in temperatures as low as -25°C. Moreover, its rugged, reinforced, IPX7-rated housing protects it from shocks, stress, water ingress, and heavy rain and snow.
The Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope has an operating time of over ten hours in Maximum mode. This is facilitated by its progressive, autonomous B-pack power supply consisting of a quick-detach, rechargeable IPS7, 6.4 A-h battery pack. The Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope is also compatible with IPS14 battery packs and AA battery cases.
Further to this, the Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope features a micro-USB jack that enables charging via a power bank. Using a power bank to charge the Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope facilitates quicker start-up in cold weather and protects the source from rapid discharge.
The Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope is an advanced, durable, and easy-to-use thermal imaging camera optimised for professional applications.
