The Pulsar Forward FN455S Digital Night Vision Monocular is an infrared imager ideal for night-time hunting applications. It can be used to transform your day scope or binoculars into a night-vision camera.
Enhanced Night-Time Sensitivity
Proprietary software, cutting-edge electronic components, and signal-processing algorithms equip the Pulsar Forward FN455S Digital Night Vision Monocular with high infrared sensitivity, delivering flawless passive performance in twilight and night without the need for IR illuminators. Furthermore, high sensitivity within the 900-950nm range means the Pulsar Forward FN455S Digital Night Vision Monocular can also be used with invisible IR illuminators.
This high night-time sensitivity, combined with a high-resolution display and sensor, a wide selection of brightness and contrast settings, quality optics, and a powerful integrated IR illuminator, makes the Pulsar Forward FN455S Digital Night Vision Monocular ideal for detecting large game at distances of up to 450-500m.
IR Illuminator
A removable Pulsar Ultra X940S IR illuminator emits 940nm in the ‘invisible’ range. The power level of the IR illuminator can be adjusted between 175, 350, and 700mW to suit the illumination intensity required. For full and uniform illumination of the observation area, the optical part of the illuminator provides flexible adjustment of the light flux direction.
SumLight Function
This function increases sensor sensitivity, enabling passive observation (with IR off) in low light and at night, without compromising image quality.
HD Sensor
The Pulsar Forward FN455S Digital Night Vision Monocular also features a highly sensitive CMOS sensor with a 1280x720 HD resolution which delivers a high-definition image with precise detail rendering.
Integrated Video & Sound Recorder
A built-in video recorder means you can capture high-quality images as well as videos with sound. Images and footage are stored on the Pulsar Forward FN455S Digital Night Vision Monocular and can be transferred to a PC/laptop via a wired connection. Alternatively, a built-in Wi-Fi module enables the wireless transfer of media to an Android or iOS smartphone or tablet with Pulsar’s Stream Vision App or Stream Vision 2 App installed. Users registered with the Stream Vision 2 App are allocated cloud storage space for their photos and videos.
Wireless connection to an Android or iOS smartphone or tablet with the Stream Vision 2 App also allows you to update the Pulsar Forward FN455S Digital Night Vision Monocular’s firmware, wirelessly stream footage, and operate the scope’s digital functions remotely.
Remote Operating Panel
Alternatively, the Pulsar Forward FN455S Digital Night Vision Monocular can be operated using an ergonomic Pulsar BT Remote Operating Panel with an encoder wheel. This enables comfortable, convenient, hands-off operation as you only need to make minimal movements to control the digital attachment features, allowing you to concentrate on hunting.
Easy & Quick to Mount
The Pulsar Forward FN455S Digital Night Vision Monocular’s proprietary adapter (sold separately) with a durable four-point bayonet assembly ensures easy transformation of day scopes into night scopes. It permanently attaches to the front of your daylight scope’s optical bell, enabling quick installation of the Pulsar Forward FN455S Attachment. The adapter accommodates a protective lens cap for when the FN455S is not in use.
Ergonomic & Durable
The Pulsar Forward FN455S Digital Night Vision Monocular will start-up within three seconds of pressing the ON button. It remains fully functional at temperatures ranging from -20°C to +50°C and features a frost-resistant AMOLED display with a fast response rate delivering crisp footage even when viewing fast-moving objects. Additionally, the Pulsar Forward FN455S Digital Night Vision Monocular is IPX7-rated making it fully waterproof and suitable for use in rain, frost, fog, and snow.
An advanced self-contained autonomous B-pack power supply includes an IPS7 (6.5Ah) rechargeable battery capable of delivering over seven hours of operating time from a single charge in maximum consumption mode. A quick-release, wireless design means the Pulsar Forward FN455S Digital Night Vision Monocular’s battery can be swapped quickly and easily in the field. The Pulsar Forward FN455S Digital Night Vision Monocular can also be used with higher-powered IPS10 (10Ah) and ISP14 (13.2Ah) battery packs (sold separately).
The Pulsar Forward FN455S Digital Night Vision Monocular is a highly sensitive, practical, and durable infrared imaging module ideal for transforming day scopes into nighttime scopes.
