The Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 LRF Night Vision Riflescope is an infrared imaging weapon sight.
The Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 LRF Night Vision Riflescope includes Pulsar’s proprietary software, cutting-edge electronic components and signal-processing algorithms to deliver high infrared (night vision) sensitivity. It offers flawless passive mode performance, without IR illumination, in deep twilight and at night.
The Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 LRF Night-Vision Riflescope is equipped with a highly sensitive HD CMOS sensor with a 1280 x 720px resolution. It provides high-definition imaging with precise detail rendering.
The Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 LRF Night Vision Riflescope includes a SumLight function for increasing the sensitivity of the sensor. It automatically activates algorithms, such as ‘frame addition’ and ‘summing adjacent pixel signals’, while preserving the image quality. The SumLight function enables passive observation (without IR illumination) in low light and at night.
The Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 LRF Night Vision Riflescope can detect targets at a maximum distance of 550m in total darkness. This vast detection range is made possible as a result of the Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 LRF Night-Vision Riflescope’s high night-time sensitivity, high-resolution display, HD sensor, high magnification and powerful built-in IR illuminator.
The Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 LRF Night-Vision Riflescope features a detachable, high-power 850nm infrared illuminator with three adjustable IR power levels for altering the effective range and the illumination level of an object observed. The 850nm IR illuminator offers effective observation of remote objects and facilitates the precise setting of the spot position within the field-of-view.
The integrated laser rangefinder can be used to measure the exact distance to the target to an accuracy of ±1m. The laser rangefinder can be used in Single Measurement or Scanning mode.
The integrated laser rangefinder should be used with the THD (True Horizontal Distance) mode when the user is shooting from high stands. This mode takes into account the angle of the shooter’s elevation relative to the target in order to calculate a true horizontal distance. The angle of elevation (AoE) is displayed on the screen.
The Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 LRF Night-Vision Riflescope identifies and indicates cant and angles greater than 5°. Arrows show the direction and degree of lateral tilting; the greater the degree of lateral tilting, the more arrows are displayed.
When the Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 LRF Night Vision Riflescope detects that it has been placed in a resting/ non-shooting position, for instance when the vertical angle is 70°+ or the horizontal angle is 30°+, it will automatically shut down.
The Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 LRF Night Vision Riflescope’s wide-angle, six-lens eyepiece provides a field-of-view that is 20% larger than that of the previous Pulsar Digisight Ultra model. Together the Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 LRF Night-Vision Riflescope’s wide-angle eyepiece and HD AMOLED display can deliver a rich and deep image perception.
The HD AMOLED display is fast-responding and frost-resistant. It will deliver crisp, fluid imaging at temperatures ranging from -25°C to +50°C.
The Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 LRF Night-Vision Riflescope can capture and save still images and videos to its internal 16Gb memory. Recorded files can be downloaded to a PC, laptop, smartphone or tablet via a wired or wireless connection.
Pulsar’s Stream Vision App is available for free for Android and iOS. It is required to send recorded videos and images to a smartphone or tablet wirelessly and can be used to stream footage to online video platforms such as YouTube.
Additionally, the Stream Vision App allows the operator to use his/her smartphone or tablet as a wireless remote control.
Moreover, the user can upload firmware updates to his/her Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 LRF Night-Vision Riflescope via the Stream Vision App and a Wi-Fi connection.
The Picture-in-Picture mode adds an extra frame to the display. The additional frame contains an enlarged image of the target and reticle. This magnified frame is 1/10th the size of the display allowing the user to zoom-in on the target without compromising his/her field-of-view.
The Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 LRF Night-Vision Riflescope includes an optical magnification and a 4x digital zoom ranging from 4.5x to 18x. The zoom can be altered continuously for a completely customised field-of-view. Alternatively, it can be adjusted in 2x steps.
The riflescope can be zeroed at the basic magnification or at a zoom (the click value must decrease as the zoom value increases). The reticle step is less than 0.1 MOA at the maximum magnification (18x); the aiming point remains stable throughout the entire magnification range.
Ballistic reticles are scaled proportionally to the magnification changes. The angular dimensions of the reticle’s parts remain consistent throughout all the magnifications which allows the user to make quick distance measurements, as well as fast adjustments when shooting at various ranges.
The Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 LRF Night-Vision Riflescope features ten user-selectable reticles including direct shot type, ballistic, scalable and regular. Each of these reticles is available in six colours.
As the Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 LRF Night-Vision Riflescope utilises an electronic reticle, the reticle is always in the same plane as the target.
The Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 LRF Night-Vision Riflescope’s reticle adjustment range is 25% greater than previous Pulsar models. Its vertical and horizontal travel range is 2m at 100m. The larger reticle travel range enables zeroing at short and long distances and means the riflescope can be installed on rifles that use cartridges with a steep ballistic trajectory without the user having to change the mounts and rails.
The user can save up to five shooting profiles for various rifles and cartridges. Each shooting profile can hold up to ten zeroing distances.
The Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 LRF Night Vision Riflescope has a high shock resistance (12-gauge, 9.3x64, .375 H&H), making it suitable for use with smooth-bore weapons, airsoft weapons and rifled hunting weapons for 9.3x64, .30-06, .300, .375 cartridges.
The Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 LRF Night-Vision Riflescope’s magnesium alloy housing can withstand the recoils of high-calibre rifles. Its increased structural rigidity reduces vibrations during shots and leads to enhanced ballistics.
The magnesium alloy housing is also lightweight and rugged and provides good heat dissipation.
The Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 LRF Night Vision Riflescope is IPX7-rated making it suitable for use in heavy rain and snow. It will remain completely functional even after submersion in 1m of water for up to thirty minutes.
The Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 LRF Night-Vision Riflescope’s B-pack power system includes a quick-detach, rechargeable IPS7, 6.4 A-h battery capable of delivering over six hours of operating time.
The Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 LRF Night-Vision Riflescope will power on within three seconds of the user pressing the ON button.
The Pulsar Digisight Ultra N450 LRF Night-Vision Riflescope is an adaptable and accurate infrared imaging weapon sight.
