A handheld, rugged, infrared imager, the Pulsar Axion 2 LRF XQ35 Pro Thermal Imaging Monocular is optimised for outdoor applications.
Featuring a fast-aperture, germanium F35/1.0 lens and European Lynred sensor with a 384 x 288px IR resolution, the Pulsar Axion 2 LRF XQ35 Pro Thermal Imaging Monocular delivers detailed, clear thermal imaging even in challenging conditions such as rain, fog, and high atmospheric humidity.
To provide high-quality rendering of targets, objects, and backgrounds, the Pulsar Axion 2 LRF XQ35 Pro Thermal Imaging Monocular includes three levels of signal amplification, a connected smoothing filter, and fine brightness and contrast adjustments. This allows you to identify targets at great distances and under a range of temperature and weather conditions.
Similarly, a digital zoom improves focus and object identification at significant distances. The Zoom can be adjusted continuously or in 2x steps.
Eight selectable thermal colour palettes can also be used to improve the monocular’s performance under various observation conditions and/or can be used to tailor the Pulsar Axion 2 LRF XQ35 Pro Thermal Imaging Monocular to the task at hand:
Together the Pulsar Axion 2 LRF XQ35 Pro Thermal Imaging Monocular’s powerful F35/1.0 objective lens and powerful thermal sensor provide a detection range of 1300m (for a 1.8m-tall object), even in complete darkness.
To determine the distance to your target, the Pulsar Axion 2 LRF XQ35 Pro Thermal Imaging Monocular includes an integrated laser rangefinder. It can determine the distance to targets up to 1km away to an accuracy of ±1m and may be used in continuous scanning mode or single measurement mode.
Thermal imaging and distance measurements are visible via the power-saving, quick-response, high-contrast AMOLED display with improved colour rendering. It delivers sharp, smooth thermal imaging even in frosty conditions.
Thousands of images and hours of footage can be recorded and saved to the Pulsar Axion 2 LRF XQ35 Pro Thermal Imaging Monocular’s internal memory. These may be transferred to a PC via a USB-C port.
Stream footage to an iOS/Android smartphone/tablet with the Stream Vision 2 App installed. The Pulsar Axion 2 LRF XQ35 Pro Thermal Imaging Monocular features two built-in Wi-Fi channels: 2.4GHz and 5GHz. Via this connection, you can also operate the Pulsar Axion 2 LRF XQ35 Pro Thermal Imaging Monocular remotely via your smartphone and wirelessly update the monocular’s software. Images and footage may also be shared directly with friends or colleagues and posted to social media. Furthermore, registered users will receive 16GB of Pulsar Cloud storage space.
Fully waterproof (IPX7), pocket-sized, and lightweight, the Pulsar Axion 2 LRF XQ35 Pro Thermal Imaging Monocular is housed in a magnesium alloy casing that protects it from shocks, drops, moisture, heat, and cold. It also removes heat from electronics, minimises image noise, and improves operational consistency. The Pulsar Axion 2 LRF XQ35 Pro Thermal Imaging Monocular sports a symmetrical design with in-line buttons making it easy to operate for both right- and left-handed users.
Powered by a rechargeable APS5 battery, the Pulsar Axion 2 LRF XQ35 Pro Thermal Imaging Monocular offers up to eleven hours of operating time. Its fast start-up (five seconds), means the Pulsar Axion 2 LRF XQ35 Pro Thermal Imaging Monocular can be left off until the moment it is needed, allowing you to conserve power. The rechargeable battery can be removed and replaced in seconds. It can be recharged in the monocular or a charger using power from a computer, household power system, or power bank via USB-C.
The Pulsar Axion 2 LRF XQ35 Pro Thermal Imaging Monocular is a portable, powerful, practical thermal imager with an integrated laser rangefinder.
