Protimeter MMS3 Moisture Measurement System – Choice of Kit

Easy-to-use, ergonomic, and equipped with an eclectic selection of functions, the Protimeter MMS3 Moisture Measurement System is a four-in-one hygrometer and pin/pinless moisture meter with Wi-Fi ideal for conducting fast and accurate building diagnostics. The Protimeter MMS3 Moisture Measurement System features the following four modes:

• Measure (pin mode): diagnoses the extent of moisture intrusion
• Search (non-invasive mode): uses non-invasive pinless radio frequency to find moisture between ¾” (19mm) and 5” (120mm) under the surface
• Hygrometry: monitor indoor air quality, measure relative humidity, relative temperature, dew point, surface temperature, and condensation, and perform multiple psychrometric calculations
• Surface Temperature (IR): uses an infrared laser pointer to measure the surface temperature and calculate proximity to the dew point

This fast-responding four-in-one meter is ergonomic and speeds up building surveys as additional accessories are not required to carry out measurements. It is also highly accurate and reliable: the Protimeter MMS3 Moisture Measurement System offers a built-in calibration check for pin moisture measurements as well as a sensitivity mode and simple field calibration for non-invasive/ pinless moisture measurements. Moreover, support for non-invasive measurements allows you to gather readings that have not been affected by surface moisture.  

Data is logged to the Protimeter MMS3 Moisture Measurement System’s internal memory (capacity for 10 000 readings). Readings can be recorded manually or automatically; the Protimeter MMS3 Moisture Measurement System also includes a File Viewer mode for viewing logged measurements.

Alternatively, results may be streamed over BLE, logged into a file, or embedded into an image using the Protimeter app; support for a Web interface allows you to view logged measurements. Data can be processed and organised into reports using Protimeter’s PC software.

Measurements are visible on the Protimeter MMS3 Moisture Measurement System’s colour display. Other practical features include an easy-to-use interface with multilanguage capability, a replaceable humidity and temperature sensor, and upgradeable firmware.
