The Chauvin Arnoux PEL103 Power/Energy Logger Complete Kit includes a Chauvin Arnoux PEL 103 Power & Energy Logger, Chauvin Arnoux MA194/350 MiniFlex Clamp, self-powered adaptor, Free Dataview Software, as well as an array of testing accessories. Please see 'What's Included?' for a complete list of the items supplied in this kit.
The Chauvin Arnoux PEL 103 Power & Energy Logger can be used to monitor the energy and power consumption of electrical systems without disturbing the mains power supply. It is suitable for use with all electrical installation types, including single-phase, split-phase and three-phase (with or without neutral).
Three current sensors and three voltage inputs facilitate the Chauvin Arnoux Power & Energy Logger's measurement capabilities. It automatically recognises the connected sensor type and can be used to measure the following parameters:
The Chauvin Arnoux PEL 103 supports analogue measurements, as well as RMS and DC measurements with 128 samples/cycle simultaneously on each phase. It can also be used to determine the crest factor, calculate the total harmonic distortion for currents and voltages, and break down detected energy losses.
Measurements and calculations are indicated on the LCD display and may be recorded in real-time onto an SD card. Moreover, data can be transferred to a PC (also in real-time) via an Ethernet, Bluetooth or USB interface and the supplied PEL Transfer Software. The PEL Transfer Software can be used to view and analyse results, as well as configure the energy logger and verify its connections prior to operation.
Additionally, Chauvin Arnoux’s Free DataView® Software can be used to create customised reports, as well as standard energy consumption reports. For further details regarding this FREE software, please see the description below.
Finally, the Chauvin Arnoux PEL 103 Power & Energy Logger's magnetised, compact design makes it ideal for conducting measurements in small and/or cramped spaces without causing disruption to the electrical system.
The Chauvin Arnoux PEL 103 Power & Energy Logger is a versatile, comprehensive, and ergonomic instrument. It is ideal for measuring and monitoring electrical installations in a variety of environments.

The Chauvin Arnoux DataView® Software can be used to configure the Chauvin Arnoux PEL 103 Power & Energy Logger, access and analyse saved data, create reports, and manage databases.
The Chauvin Arnoux's DataView® Software is compatible with an array of Chauvin Arnoux instruments. It automatically recognises the connected Chauvin Arnoux product, for example, the PEL 103, and opens the corresponding tree-structured menu, thereby enabling fast, simple, and clear navigation. Users can easily access and view the data recorded on the Chauvin Arnoux PEL 103 Power & Energy Logger, create reports, and back up data on their PC.
The Chauvin Arnoux DataView® Software includes a number of standard report templates for easy and quick report generation in accordance with EN50160 and IEC 60364 standards.* However, this software’s capabilities makes it just as easy to create customised reports. Reports can be exported in .pdf formats. Alternatively, data may be exported into Excel spreadsheets.
Chauvin Arnoux's DataView® Software is ideal for increasing the efficiency of power and energy inspection and measurement tasks, making it the ideal accompaniment to the Chauvin Arnoux PEL 103 Power & Energy Logger.
* For further details, please see the attached datasheet.
The Chauvin Arnoux MA194/350 MiniFlex Clamp can be used with the Chauvin Arnoux PEL 103 Power & Energy Logger to measure currents between 100mA to 10 000A. It has a clamp diameter of 100mm and a 3m cord.
The Chauvin Arnoux PEL 103 Power & Energy Logger will automatically recognise the Chauvin Arnoux MA194/350 MiniFlex Clamp when it is connected
