Ideal for ecology and conservation applications, the Pixfra Arc A6XX are a series of infrared-imaging monoculars equipped with a 640x512px IR resolution, 30mK thermal sensitivity, and choice of 13mm, 25mm, or 35mm lens. These thermal imaging monoculars can detect slight heat signatures at significant distances (up to 1800m – model dependent) and will render these clearly on the 1440 x 1080px OLED display. Imaging may be streamed to a secondary smart device via the Pixfra app, making the Arc A6XX ideal for group observations. Multiple colour palettes also enhance observations, allowing you to tailor the Pixfra Arc AXX to your application or surroundings. Furthermore, a built-in video recorder enables the capture and storage of footage.
Featuring a 12µm thermal sensor with a 30mK thermal sensitivity and a 640 x 512px IR resolution, the Pixfra Arc A6XX can detect and display slight temperature differences across scenes. Crisp, clear infrared imaging is indicated on the 0.4-inch 1440 x 1080 OLED display and can be enhanced to highlight particular features using six thermal colour palettes:
Similarly, a digital zoom allows you to focus on particular areas.
An inbuilt video recorder means ecologists and conservations can capture and save thermal footage to the 32GB memory.
All the Pixfra Arc A6XX Thermal Imaging Monoculars are equipped with an objective lens. However, these vary in size. Please see the table below for details, as well as information regarding detection distances.
Model | Lens | Detection Distance |
Arc A613 | 13mm | 670m |
Arc A625 | 25mm | 1300m |
Arc A635 | 35mm | 1800m |
The Pixfra App is available for free on Android and iOS. It facilitates group observations as ecologists and conservationists may stream footage captured using the Pixfra Arc A6XX to up to four smart devices within a 20m radius.
Lightweight, compact, and durable, the Arc A6XX is pocket-sized and light enough for comfortable prolonged use. It is encased in an IP67-rated, waterproof, robust magnesium alloy housing, ensuring suitability for rugged outdoor locations. Moreover, an operating temperature range of -30°C to +50°C means the Arc A6XX can be used in challenging environments.
Finally, the Pixfra Arc A6XX Thermal Imaging Monoculars are supplied with a replaceable, rechargeable battery that delivers an operating time of up to 6.5 hours.
The Pixfra Arc A6XX Thermal Imaging Monocular is a compact, cost-effective IR imager optimised for comfort and convenience.
