PASS PRTD-7 RTD Temperature Calibrator
The PASS PRTD-7 calibrator, known for its compact design and ease of use, can measure and simulate up to seven different probes, including resistance.
One benefit of this instrument type is its capability to calibrate without removing the target device from the process. Additionally, calibrating an instrument in its actual operating environment is preferable. However, not all quantities can be handled this way. Currently, on-site calibrators are mainly utilized for electrical signals and temperature calibration.
The calibrator has two main functions. Firstly, it generates precise values for a signal, which are applied upstream in the measurement chain. Secondly, it measures the signal. If a panel meter is available at the chain's end, you can compare its reading to the calibrator's indication. Otherwise, the simulated input value is directly compared to the signal measured by the calibrator.
The Temperature Calibrator offers extended battery life for field use when operating independently on battery power. When connected to the mains, it can be used continuously without any time limitations.
