PanelPilot SGD 24-M-IP420 2.4” Waterproof Current Loop Display

The PanelPilot SGD 24-M-IP420 2.4” Waterproof Dual Input Current Loop Display is a rugged panel meter designed for conducting current loop measurements. In addition to durability, the PanelPilot SGD 24-M-IP420 2.4” Waterproof Current Loop Display has been optimised for versatility and longevity. The PanelPilot SGD 24-M-IP420 2.4” Waterproof Dual Input Current Loop Display is able to measure current between 4 and 20mA. To ensure readings are displayed to the best possible resolution, the PanelPilot SGD 24-M-IP420 2.4” Waterproof Current Loop Display includes Programmable Gain Amplifiers. PGAs provide the optimum resolution by selecting the smallest possible range that will accommodate the two input voltages entered by the user during scaling. The maximum input voltage accommodated by the PanelPilot SGD 24-M-IP420 2.4” Waterproof Dual Input Current Loop Display is 40V DC. Each of the PanelPilot SGD 24-M-IP420 2.4” Waterproof Current Loop Panel Meter’s channels can be programmed independently and is able to support up to eight input voltage ranges.

The PanelPilot SGD 24-M-IP420 2.4” Waterproof Dual Input Current Loop Display includes two analogue inputs and two alarm outputs. Current loop measurements are indicated on the panel meter’s 2.4”, TFT, colour display. This display has a resolution of 320 x 240px and has a 16-bit colour depth. Uploaded graphics, such as logos, are automatically converted to a format compatible with this display.

Uploading logos and configuring the PanelPilot SGD 24-M-IP420 2.4” Waterproof Dual Input Current Loop Panel Meter’s display and operation is done via PanelPilot’s free software available for Windows 7, 8.1 and 10. The PanelPilot Software can be used to program the following parameters:

• Meter type
• Text labels (including units and graph labels)
• Background
• Graphs and graph segments (bar, tank style, analogue style and trend graphs are available)
• Text colours
• Input scaling/ calibration (at two points)
• Decimal points (entered during scaling)
• Splashscreen image (the user can select an image, for instance, a logo, to appear upon start-up)

This free PanelPilot Software features multiple meter configurations; additional meter applications can be downloaded from PanelPilot’s subscription service.

Completed configurations are uploaded to the PanelPilot SGD 24-M-IP420 2.4” Waterproof Dual Input Current Loop Display via a ‘Type A to Mini-B’ USB cable. Transferring and affecting configurations takes approximately 15 to 35 seconds.

Once configured the PanelPilot SGD 24-M-IP420 2.4” Waterproof Dual Input Current Loop Display can be mounted to panels up to 10.5mm deep using the IP67 12-way connector and 32mm nut. When the 32mm nut has been fully tightened the mounting hole can be covered using the rubber seal.

The PanelPilot SGD 24-M-IP420 2.4” Waterproof Dual Input Current Loop Display’s IP67 and NEMA 6 rating, along with its rugged, scratch-resistant Corning® Gorilla® glass window, and wide operating voltage (4V to 30V DC) means it can be installed in a variety of challenging environments.
