The PanelPilot SGD 24-M 2.4” Programmable Voltmeter Display is an easy-to-configure and versatile panel display optimised for voltmeter applications.
This panel meter includes a 2.4” TFT, colour display with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels and 16-bit colour depth. Uploaded graphics are automatically converted into the format supported by the PanelPilot SGD 24-M 2.4” Programmable Panel Meter. This display is fitted with a resistive touchscreen.
The PanelPilot SGD 24-M 2.4” Programmable Voltmeter Display is able to measure voltages between 0 and 40V DC. Voltage readings can be frozen to the display using the Digital Hold.
The PanelPilot SGD 24-M 2.4” Programmable Voltmeter Display’s two voltage inputs utilise Programmable Gain Amplifiers (PGA) to ensure the available resolution is used effectively. The PanelPilot SGD 24-M 2.4” Programmable Voltmeter Display determines the input voltage range by finding the smallest range that accommodates the two voltages entered in the scaling section of the PanelPilot Configuration software (see below). The maximum input voltage supported by the PanelPilot SGD 24-M 2.4” Programmable Voltmeter Display is 40V DC. Each of the PanelPilot SGD 24-M 2.4” Programmable Voltmeter Display’s channels can be programmed independently and may include up to eight different input voltage ranges.
As mentioned above, the PanelPilot SGD 24-M 2.4” Programmable Voltmeter Display can be programmed using the free PanelPilot Configuration Software (available for Windows 7, 8.1 and 10). Multiple, configurable voltmeter types and functions are included with this software, allowing the user to tailor the PanelPilot SGD 24-M 2.4” Programmable Voltmeter Display to his/her specific voltage measurement application. However, additional meter types are also available for download from the PanelPilot subscription service, enabling the PanelPilot SGD 24-M 2.4” Programmable Panel Meter to measure a variety of parameters.
Using the PanelPilot Configuration Software, the user can program the following parameters:
Completed configurations are uploaded to the PanelPilot SGD 24-M 2.4” Programmable Voltmeter Display via a Type A to Mini B USB cable. It takes approximately fifteen seconds to transfer and affect the configuration.
Once configuration is complete, the PanelPilot SGD 24-M 2.4” Programmable Voltmeter Display can be mounted into position using the panel fixing clip and four screw terminals for connection to the inputs. The PanelPilot SGD 24-M 2.4” Programmable Voltmeter Display can be mounted to panels up to 3mm deep and is supplied with a silicone seal to improve installation on thin panels (max panel thickness is limited to 2mm). This combined with the PanelPilot SGD 24-M 2.4” Programmable Voltmeter Display’s wide operating voltage (4V to 30V DC) means it can be installed in a range of locations.
Furthermore, to ensure it is able to accommodate future demands, the PanelPilot SGD 24-M 2.4” Programmable Voltmeter Display is equipped with a DIL IDC socket which provides an alternative to screw terminal connections. This panel meter also includes provisions for expansions using data buses and alarm outputs.
The PanelPilot SGD 24-M 2.4” Programmable Voltmeter Display is a multifunctional, flexible and easy-to-configure voltmeter.
