To meet the weighing and measurement needs of most industrial and manufacturing applications, the Ohaus Ranger 7000 Industrial Compact Counting Bench Scales feature ten advanced application modes.

Furthermore, a weigh-below hook enables specific gravity tests and allows you to weigh items that are too large or awkward to be placed on the weighing platform.

Flexible Connectivity

In addition to this, using an RS232 cable and a second platform/remote base kit, you can connect another Ohaus scale for more accurate sampling or a floor scale platform for high-capacity weighing applications. Results from the Ohaus Ranger 7000 Industrial Compact Counting Bench Scales and floor platform are displayed simultaneously. An optional Discrete I/O interface can be used to control peripheral equipment which is particularly useful when filling or checking.

Data can be exported via the Ohaus Ranger 7000 Industrial Compact Counting Bench Scales’ standard RS232 interface or USB device port. The USB device port also facilitates use with a barcode scanner. As well as the aforementioned selective Discrete I/O interface, the Ohaus Ranger 7000 Industrial Compact Counting Bench Scales supports an optional Ethernet interface or a second RS232 interface.

A built-in 2000-record memory ensures you can save weighing, checking, counting, and filling data, while an integrated 30-item storage library saves formulation and sieve analysis data.

Large, High-Resolution Display

Measurements are indicated on the large (109mm), backlit, high-resolution, graphic display. Standard models offer a 75 000d resolution (7 500d certified) while high-resolution models provide 350 000d (35 000d certified). Furthermore, the colour display will indicate whether the weight on the platform is within the target range, significantly improving the efficiency and ease of check-weighing/ counting.

AutoCal (High-Res Models Only)

High-resolution models also include AutoCal technology which automatically calibrates the Ohaus Ranger 7000 Industrial Compact Counting Bench Scales every eleven hours or when it senses a temperature change significant enough to affect accuracy.
