The Norbar NORTRONIC® Electronic Torque Wrenches – 915 MHz are available in four models. These models differ in regards to the size of their drives and their measurement ranges. Please see the table below for further details.

The Norbar NORTRONIC® Electronic Torque Wrenches can be used to measure torque and angle. To ensure accuracy they are supplied with a clockwise and anti-clockwise UKAS-accredited calibration, as well as a VDI/ VDE 2648 angle calibration. As a result, torque and angle control are accurate and traceable.

Measurements are viewable via the Norbar NORTRONIC® Electronic Torque Wrenches’ two full-colour, OLED displays which are placed at 90° to one another in order to provide horizontal and vertical viewing of the readings. It this therefore possible to view measurements regardless of the tool’s orientation.

It is also possible to program the Norbar NORTRONIC® Electronic Torque Wrenches to include up to fifteen linked or non-linked torque, angle and final torque targets at any one time.

These electronic torque wrenches are equipped with Norbar’s Torque Data System (TDS) Software (supplied on a USB flash drive), allowing the user to export readings to the TDS Software in real-time. Alternatively, data can be transferred to a PC via a USB lead or wireless interface. When transferring data wirelessly to a computer, a Norbar wireless adapter is required (NOT included). Norbar’s wireless adapters are able to accommodate up to eight Norbar NORTRONIC® Electronic Torque Wrenches.

Additionally, the Norbar NORTRONIC® Electronic Torque Wrenches feature an ASCII mode facilitating their ability to interface with third-party software, such as ProSuite Process Control software programs.

The Norbar NORTRONIC® Electronic Torque Wrenches' ability to interface with Norbar’s TDS Software as well as other third-party software programs allows the user to view the calibration date of the instrument.

Further to this, its USB interface facilitates the connection of compatible tools enabling the creation of torque and angle graphs. These graphs may be saved.

Moreover, when a Norbar HandTorque® Gearbox is connected to the Norbar NORTRONIC® Electronic Torque Wrenches, torque measurements are displayed and saved, as well as directly outputted.

The scope-for-use of the Norbar NORTRONIC® Electronic Torque Wrenches is further extended due to their compatibility with all of Norbar’s spanner-end fittings. Moreover, these instruments feature an IP44 rating, a one-piece aluminium handle, and are supplied with an extruded aluminium case, adding to their suitability for rugged industrial and automotive environments.
