Norbar NORTRONIC® Electronic Torque Wrenches – 868 MHz

The Norbar NORTRONIC® Electronic Torque Wrenches – 868 MHz are available in four models with different drive sizes and measurement ranges; please see the table below for further information.

The Norbar NORTRONIC® Wrenches are electronic torque wrenches equipped with Norbar’s Torque Data System (TDS) Software (supplied on a USB flash drive). They can be used to measure torque and angle.

Torque and angle control are both accurate and traceable. To ensure measurement accuracy, the Norbar NORTRONIC® Electronic Torque Wrenches are supplied with a VDI/ VDE 2648 angle calibration, as well as a clockwise and anti-clockwise UKAS-accredited torque calibration.

Measurements are indicated on the Norbar NORTRONIC® Electronic Torque Wrenches’ two, full-colour OLED displays. These displays are positioned at 90° to each other for both horizontal and vertical viewing, ensuring that readings are easy-to-see regardless of the tool’s orientation.

Measurements can be exported to the TDS Software in real time or may be downloaded via a USB lead or wireless interface. To download information to a PC wirelessly a wireless adapter is required (NOT included). Norbar’s wireless adapters are able to accommodate up to eight wrenches.

Further to this, the Norbar NORTRONIC® Electronic Torque Wrenches include an ASCII mode allowing the tools to be used with third-party software. These instruments are capable of interfacing with ProSuite Process Control software programs. Using either a third-party software or Norbar’s TDS Software the user can view the tool’s calibration date.

When these instruments are used with Norbar’s HandTorque® Gearboxes, the Norbar NORTRONIC® Electronic Torque Wrenches will directly output the torque of the Handtorque® Gearbox, as well as display and save the measurement.

Moreover, when tools are connected via a USB interface, the user is able to produce torque and angle graphs. These graphs can be saved.

In addition to measuring angle and torque, the user can program the Norbar NORTRONIC® Electronic Torque Wrenches to include torque, angle and final torque targets. It is possible to save up to fifteen linked or non-linked targets to the wrenches at any one time.

In addition to their comprehensive measurement capabilities, the Norbar NORTRONIC® Electronic Torque Wrenches have also been optimised for practicality and durability. These instruments are compatible with Norbar’s spanner-end fittings, extending their scope-for-use, and feature an IP44 protection rating to ensure their suitability for rugged environments. The durability of these instruments is further improved by their one-piece aluminium handles and the supplied extruded aluminium case.
