Norbar HTX/X Handtorque® Standard Multipliers with AWUR

The Norbar HTX/X Handtorque® Standard Multipliers with AWUR can be used to increase the amount of torque applied to a bolt using a torque wrench. They provide an ergonomic solution to performing high-torque applications in areas with limited access. These multipliers feature the same accuracy (±4%) but differ in regards to their torque multiplication ratios, torque ranges, and the size of their input and output squares. The Norbar HTX/X Handtorque® Standard Multipliers utilise multiple stages of epicyclic gearing to generate greater output torques from the torque inputted via the torque wrench. This allows the operator to use a smaller torque wrench for high-torque applications. Additionally, each of the eleven models listed above features an anti-wind-up ratchet (AWUR) specifically designed to contain the forces generated during tightening. The Norbar HTX/X Handtorque® Standard Multipliers can also be fitted with reactions of various styles (NOT included) to accommodate a majority of applications (please call for details).

Further to this, the Norbar HTX/X Handtorque® Standard Multipliers are compatible with Norbar’s electronic torque transducers. When fitted with an electronic torque transducer (NOT included), the Norbar HTX/X Handtorque® Standard Multipliers can be used to monitor torque precisely.
