The Norbar HT3-1000 Handtorque Multiplier can be used with compatible torque wrenches to increase the level of torque supplied to the bolt. This tool is of particular use when a high level of torque is required but space, operator strength and/or operator safety make achieving this level of torque using a traditional method an impossibility.
The Norbar HT3-1000 Handtorque Multiplier has a nominal torque multiplication reaction of 5:1. It has a ratio of 4.8:1 with a cranked foot and a ratio of 4.9:1 with a straight reaction. Therefore, input to the multiplier is achieved via setting the torque wrench to one-fifth of the intended output torque.
The Norbar HT3-1000 Handtorque Multiplier has a torque multiplication accuracy of ±4% and may be purchased with an OPTIONAL UKAS calibration; please contact our sales team PRIOR to purchase for further details.
As a result of its quick-change cranked reaction with improved flexibility, the Norbar HT3-1000 Handtorque Multiplier is able to facilitate reaction in eight orientations. Additionally, the Norbar HT3-1000 Handtorque Multiplier’s versatility is further improved by the inclusion of two reaction bars.
This small, compact and robust tool solves the problem of limited space and requires minimal maintenance over the course of its long life. To this end, the Norbar HT3-1000 Handtorque Multiplier is covered in a durable silver metallic powder coat.
The Norbar HT3-1000 Handtorque Multiplier is a practical, versatile, accurate instrument designed to improve the ease with which high levels of torque may be applied to bolts.
