Monitran VM220 Portable Handheld Vibration Meter

The Monitran VM220 Portable Handheld Vibration Meter is a handheld vibration meter with an extensive memory and ability to measure vibrations accurately. As such it includes a constant, current accelerometer, switchable low pass filter and an adaptive amplifier.

The Monitran VM220 Portable Handheld Vibration Meter is compliant with ISO10816-3 requirements. As standard it has the following ranges:

• Acceleration: 20g
• Velocity: 200mm/s
• Displacement: 2000µm

In addition to measuring acceleration, velocity and vibration within the above ranges, the Monitran VM220 Portable Handheld Vibration Meter can also be set to display RMS, peak, peak-peak and crest-factor readings within each of the acceleration, velocity and displacement modes. The user can also measure bearing condition in the acceleration and velocity modes.

Additionally, it is possible for the user to set the Monitran VM220 Portable Handheld Vibration Meter to display measurements in his/her desired measurement unit.

Readings can be viewed via the high-visibility, colour LCD display. In addition to this, it is possible to save up to one-hundred date- and time-stamped readings to the Monitran VM220 Portable Handheld Vibration Meter’s integrated memory. Saved readings can include measurements for RMS, peak, peak-peak, crest factor and bearing condition.

Furthermore, the user can listen to vibrations directly via the Monitran VM220 Portable Handheld Vibration Meter’s audio output.

With regards to its physical design, this instrument features an industrial rubber case, making it suitable for use in harsh, industrial environments. It is also equipped with a rechargeable, lithium-ion battery with a worldwide charger, and an AC output.

Finally, the Monitran VM220 Portable Handheld Vibration Meter is supplied with an MTN/2200 probe sensor (alternatives are available, please call for details).
