Extech MO230 Pocket Moisture Meter

Pocket-sized, portable and lightweight, the MO230 is a great tool for quickly evaluating the level of moisture inside a material.

This moisture meter uses invasive measurements to calculate moisture content exactly and is suitable for use on materials such as wood, paper, wall board, sheet rock, cardboard, plaster, concrete and mortar. It displays the overall moisture content of the material being tested on the device's graphical display as both a numerical reading and analogue bar graph representation. Along with the moisture content reading the MO230 also displays ambient temperature or humidity alongside as a separate readings. It's also possible to display max moisture values and programmable wet/dry indication.

The pins of the MO230 are likely to get damaged over time due to repeated use so the device is designed to accept replacement pins should this occur. It also includes built-in memory that stores 3 wood groups, 4 building material groups with calibrations for approximately 150 species of wood and 19 building material types, helping to calculate measurements and ensure overall accuracy at all times.
