The Mitutoyo Series 810 HV-100 Vickers Hardness Testing Machine is an electronic Vickers hardness tester that can be used to test metals, particularly small heat-treated parts. In addition to this, the Mitutoyo Series 810 HV-100 Vickers Hardness Testing Machine can be used with OPTIONAL accessories, such as a Knoop indenter and weights and indenters suitable for Micro Brinell testing, to conduct special purpose tests such as:
- Carburised case hardness
- Maximum hardness of spot welds
- High-temperature hardness
- Fracture toughness of ceramic materials
The Mitutoyo Series 810 HV-100 Vickers Hardness Testing Machine is available with a range of systems. Please see the image and table below for more information.
System | Models | Notes |
A | HM-110A/HM-120A | All-in-one model with a simple colour touch-panel operation. |
B | HM-110B/HM-120B | A system equipped with an automatic reading function with AVPAK software. |
C | HM-110C/HM-120C | In addition to the functions of System B, System C is equipped with an electric stage. |
D | HM-110D/HM-120D | In addition to the functions of System B and System C, System D is equipped with the autofocus function. |
All models feature objective lenses specifically developed for hardness testers, as well as LED illumination which provides a clear and natural view of the indentation. To reduce collisions between the workpiece and lens, the Mitutoyo Series 810 HV-100 Vickers Hardness Testing Machine’s objective lenses are designed to double the working distance. Mitutoyo offers a range of objective lenses:
- 10x, 20x, 50x, and 100x objective lenses for observation and gauging
- 5x and 2x objective lenses for observation (the 2x lens is ideal for wide-angle observation)
The Mitutoyo Series 810 HV-100 Vickers Hardness Testing Machine is an easy-to-use, adaptable, electronic Vickers hardness tester.
