The Mitutoyo Series 570 Absolute Digital Ergonomic Height Gauge is a user-friendly, compact meter; its base fits comfortably into the palm of a hand. An improved column design ensures greater durability and better accuracy, while the slider-adjustment wheel enables smooth elevation, and the large slider-clamp lever provides positive and accurate clamping. Data is displayed using 10mm characters on the LCD.

Functions

In addition to the above, the Mitutoyo Series 570 Absolute Digital Ergonomic Height Gauge includes the following functions:

• Origin Setting: set and store any convenient surface, such as a surface plate, as the absolute origin point.
• ABSOLUTE System Measurement: retains the last origin position; this eliminates the need to set the origin each time the gauge is switched on. The ABS (absolute) origin position can be altered by pressing the ORIGIN button.
• Incremental Measurement: the origin can be set at any arbitrary position. When this function is used, the origin point is not stored after switching the gauge off.
• Data Hold: freezes the current reading on the display.
• Data Output: enables integration into statistical process control and measurement systems.
• Low Voltage Alert: a “B” is displayed on the LCD to alert the user when the battery’s voltage becomes low.
