SERIES 313 - Three-Wire Units
The measuring wires are hardened and precision lapped. They are placed onto the spindle and anvil of the outside micrometer. The three-wire measuring process is applied to determine the pitch diameter of threads and is considered one of the most accurate measuring procedures.
- Enables measurement of the pitch diameter (effective diameter) of screw threads with a standard micrometer using the three-wire method.
Technical Data
- Roundness: 0.5 µm or less
- Cylindricity: 1 µm or less
- Hardness: 63 to 66 HRC
- Max. permissible error J MPE: ±2 µm
