The Mitutoyo Series 293 Digital Micrometer is also equipped with a Ratchet Stop which provides a consistent measuring force, and the following functions:

• Zero Setting: briefly pressing the ORIGIN button zeroes the display at the current spindle position, enabling easy comparison measurements.
• Auto Power On/ Off: the LCD switches off automatically after twenty minutes of idleness; however, the reading is retained and can be recalled by turning the spindle.
