The Mitutoyo Series 2 Inch Reading Dial Indicators are standard 0.0001” to 0.001” dial indicators with a 57mm-diameter bezel. An O-ring and secure adhesion between the bezel and crystal prevents water and oil ingress. The Mitutoyo Series 2 Inch Reading Dial Indicators’ crystals are also covered in a hard, scratch- and chemical-resistant coating.
To ensure suitability for arduous use, the Mitutoyo Series 2 Inch Reading Dial Indicators’ stems and plungers are made from high-strength, quench-hardened stainless steel. Similarly, their sector gears are constructed from a special alloy designed to resist wear, while jewelled bearings deliver excellent durability and indication sensitivity.
The Mitutoyo Series 2 Inch Reading Dial Indicators are used with carbide contact points. Moreover, an outer clamp or a lifting lever (OPTIONAL) may be attached to either the right or left side of the indicator; tools are not required to install or remove these parts.
