Available with metric or imperial measuring ranges, these satin-chrome-finished Mitutoyo Series 155 Telescopic Gauges are self-centring and apply a constant spring force to the measuring surface. They operate in the following way:
- A spring-loaded plunger expands within a bore/ groove
- It is locked into position using a knurled lockscrew
- The gauge is extracted
- The width/ diameter is measured using an outside micrometer
