The MIT515 has selectable test voltage from 250 to 5000V (5kV) and can test insulation resistance levels to 10TΩ. The tester can also perform PI, DAR and DD tests and can display resistance, voltage, leakage current, capacitance, battery status and time constant.
Working on site? The MIT515 is built inside a super tough protective outer case, ensuring the unit can't be easily damaged. It's also lightweight, small in size and portable, ensuring that moving the unit from testing point to testing point is as comfortable as possible.
Megger's MIT515 is designed with flexibility in mind; it can be powered by the standard rapid charge lithium ion rechargeable batteries or can be directly plugged into an AC mains supply should the batteries be dead.
