Metrohm LLT-33kV High Voltage Live Line Tester - Full Kit

This comprehensive testing kit can be used to test high voltage systems up to 33kV.

Included as part of the kit is all the items needed to test high voltage overhead lines, switchgear and substations. The main testers that will be used from this kit are an HV measuring rod and a phasing rod, each of which is made of highly durable materials designed to be used indoors, outdoors or even in wet conditions.

Once the HV rod is connected to the testing point (including directing earth thanks to the included earthing cable) it shows readings of overall voltage on a built-in analogue meter that can be rotated around the rod to make sure you can always see it. The phasing rod works in a similar fashion except it is used to check phase on a high voltage system.

Also supplied as part of this kit are extension rods for both of the testing rods, allowing them to be more easily used on difficult-to-reach applications. Two overhead line adaptors and two bent-end adaptors are also included for easy attached to overhead lines or to switchgear.

A proving unit is also supplied in the pack, allowing the measurement accuracy of each rod to be assessed both before and after testing to ensure that results are as accurate as possible.
