Metrel MI3325 MultiServicerXD Multifunction Tester

The Metrel MI3325 MultiServicerXD Multifunction Tester is specifically optimised for industrial applications. It is a rugged, reliable multifunction tester with an eclectic selection of testing capabilities designed to accommodate a diverse variety of industrial applications.

This successor to the Metrel MI3321 MultiservicerXA Multifunction Tester is suitable for industrial and periodic safety testing, as well as the safety testing of factory machinery, production lines, portable appliances, arc welding equipment and switchgear/ control gear. It can perform safety tests according to the following standards:

• Safety of machinery testing: IEC/ EN 60204 Ed.6
• Safety of low-voltage switchgear and control gear testing: IEC/ EN 61439-1 Ed.2
• Safety of portable appliances testing: VDE 0701-0702, AS/NZS 3760 and Code of Practice
• Safety of arc welding equipment testing: IEC/ EN 60974-4 Ed. 2 (when used with a Metrel A1422 Active Three-Phase Adapter)

To facilitate the aforementioned applications, the Metrel MI3325 MultiServicerXD Multifunction Tester is equipped with the following test and measurement capabilities:

The Metrel MI3325 MultiServicerXD Multifunction Tester can be used to monitor all three voltages in real-time and can be used to conduct tests on TT, TN, IT and 115V supply systems. It also includes automated RCD testing procedures and impedance testing procedures which are accessible via the RCD Auto and Z Auto options respectively. The Metrel MI3325 MultiServicerXD Multifunction Tester also includes several AUTOSEQUENCES® which allow the user to perform pre-programmed test procedures for particular equipment, appliances and systems quickly and easily.

Additionally, the Metrel MI3325 MultiServicerXD Multifunction Tester includes built-in help screens designed to aid the user with performing each test and also features an integrated fuse table for the automatic evaluation of line/ loop impedance results. Accessing the tests, results and functions is easy via the Metrel MI3325 MultiServicerXD Multifunction Tester’s high-resolution, 4.3” TFT, colour touchscreen display and keyboard.

Measurements can be saved to the Metrel MI3325 MultiServicerXD Multifunction Tester’s extensive, 8GB SD card; it is possible to expand this memory to 32GB. This memory card is integrated into the Metrel MI3325 MultiServicerXD Multifunction Tester. Data can be downloaded to a PC using one of the Metrel MI3325 MultiServicerXD Multifunction Tester’s four communication ports: RS232, USB, Ethernet and Bluetooth. These communication ports also facilitate remote control.

The included Metrel ES Manager Software allows information to be downloaded to a PC. Once downloaded the operator can use this software to create and print test reports as well as archive data. It is also possible to create customised test sequences with pre-defined PASS/ FAIL limits which may be uploaded to the Metrel MI3325 MultiServicerXD Multifunction Tester.
