Metrel MI3295S Step Contact Voltage Measuring System – Standard Set

The Metrel MI3295 Step Contact Voltage Measuring System can be used to check and test protective earthing in power stations, substations and various other power systems.

This system consists of a station for generating current and an autonomous voltage meter. Inclusion of an autonomous step voltage meter removes the need for long potential leads and enables several meters to be used together. When several voltage meters are used together they can analyse voltage distribution around the tested object more quickly.

The Metrel MI3295 Step Contact Voltage Measuring System’s combined current generation station and autonomous voltage meter equips it with several measurement functions including:

  • Step voltage
  • Contact voltage
  • Specific earth resistance
  • Potential
  • Leakage current

Effective noise cancellation and a high test current of up to 55A enable the Metrel MI3295 Step Contact Voltage Measuring System to measure step and contact voltages to high accuracy and a resolution of 10µV. The Metrel MI3295 Step Contact Voltage Measuring System is immune to noise caused by changing earth currents.

Test parameters and results are recorded to the Metrel MI3295 Step Contact Voltage Measuring System’s three-tier internal memory. This information can be downloaded, analysed and organised into reports using the included Metrel ES Manager and HVLink Pro Software.

This lightweight system (29.5 kg) has a low output voltage (55V) and therefore a high safety rating. The Metrel MI3295 Step Contact Voltage Measuring System is a safe, simple-to-use, speedy voltage measuring system optimised for checking protective earthing in various power systems.
