Metrels MI3290 Earth Analyser is a compact and portable test instrument which can be run on either mains or battery making it suitable for most environments, with an IP rating of 54 with the case open. The MI3290 is intended for use in the field of measuring earth resistance and earth potential of various energetic and non-energetic objects. With various test methods available to the user, from 3-wire earth resistance to 1-4 clamp method for pylons.

With a wide variety of functions and tests and the noise immunity filter which makes for more accurate results in industrial environments, the MI3290 is the most comprehensive model in the range and is more suited to people with experience in the field.
The unit is built inside its own protective carry case with an IP protection of 65 when closed and 54 when open, the screen is a 3.4’’ colour LCD display with touch screen with an intuitive menu system, capable of touch gestures to perform navigational shortcuts. The screen displays full readings, warnings and notifications, helpful diagrams and limit indications.
