Metrels MI3290GL comes with a licence key for grounding and lightning functionality of the earth analyser.
Battery or mains powered, the tester can easily be used in any environment, with an IP protection of 65 (IP 54 open case), the tester is built inside its own carry case making it easily portable.
The MI3290 is intended for carrying out and testing of earth resistance, specific earth resistance and earth potential of various energetic and non-energetic objects.
Different methods are available to the user depending on the required need including classic 3 wire earth resistance. Different frequency methods also available to the user include single frequency or frequency sweep from 55 Hz to 15 kHz, HF method with 25 kHz and pulse method to simulate a lightning strike. High electrical noise immunity gives clearer more accurate results.
With the intuitive 4.3” touchscreen and clear menu screens which show notifications and warning indicators, the MI3290 is a well-structured and easy to use tester with various settings available to you on the tester to set it up to your needs, for auto sequences and customised tests you can create this on the included Metrel ES Manager software which allows you to view and edit measurement results as well as generate reports.
