The Metrel MI 3088 PhotoVoltaic Demonstration Board simulates a typical photovoltaic system. To this end, it contains a PV module, DC/AC inverter, PV string, DC switch box, and one-phase connection to the power grid.
These components facilitate the demonstration board’s ability to simulate an I/V characteristic of a PV module/string, as well as the output of an irradiance or temperature sensor. It is also capable of simulating a DC/AC inverter with one DC input and single phase output.
