The Metrel MI 6601 MediTest is a newly developed tester designed for assessing the electrical safety of medical equipment in compliance with the IEC/EN 60601 standard, applicable at any stage of the equipment's lifecycle.
It provides the precision needed for development work and detailed measurements for type testing. It can be integrated into the production line and is portable enough for recurrent testing according to IEC/EN 60601 or IEC/EN 62353 standards. Additionally, it aids in diagnosing issues in service departments and can be used for field troubleshooting.
The MI 6601 MediTest can function independently in the field without a PC or laptop. For office and laboratory settings, it can be used alongside the Metrel Medical Electrical Safety Manager (MMESM). It facilitates the creation and execution of test sequences in line with IEC/EN 60601 standards and supports asset management. Reports are generated using the integrated online services Metrel Cloud Reports and Metrel Cloud Storage.
