The Metrel MI3155 Eurotest XD Multifunction Tester is the most recent and most sophisticated multifunction tester produced by Metrel (as of 2018). It has been designed for testing installations and equipment across a variety of industries ranging from low voltage and construction to medical and IT.
This extensive variety of applications is made possible as a result of the Metrel MI3155 Eurotest XD Multifunction Tester’s comprehensive measurement capabilities. It is able to take true-RMS AC/DC current measurements to 299.9A and true-RMS voltage measurements to 550V. This instrument is also able to take one and three-phase true-RMS voltage and frequency measurements.

These extensive measurement capabilities can be used to create auto sequences, which may be programmed to support visual and functional inspections. The Metrel MI3155 also includes a number of pre-existing auto test sequences including EVSE, RCD, and impedance testing. Accessing these existing auto-tests and programming new ones is made simple and easy as a result of the large, colour, touchscreen display with an intuitive, easy-to-navigate operating system. Moreover, its extensive memory organiser ensures that results and sequences can be easily stored and recalled.
This intelligent operating system also includes integrated help screens and fuse tables which automatically evaluate the results acquired by line and loop tests. The multifunction tester will also filter measurements according to the selected area group. These evaluating and sorting features help to increase the speed of the user’s inspections, improving work efficiency.
These results can be communicated to a PC and/or an Android tablet using its integrated BlueTooth module. Once the results have been sent to a PC the user can organise them into a report using Metrel ES Manager Software. Alternatively, if the user elects to download the information to an Android device, he/she may utilise the OPTIONAL aMESM Android App to create professional reports.
Finally, in terms of its practicality, the tester is supplied with rechargeable batteries and a built-in charger. It is also compliant with a number of industry standards, please see below.
