The Metrel MI 3114 PV Tester is a high-capacity instrument designed for testing photovoltaic (PV) systems. It can handle up to 1500 V and a short circuit current of 40 A. Compliant with IEC 62446-1, it conducts a full range of category one tests, including PV-specific measurements like insulation resistance, Isc, and Uoc. The results are calculated using STC values to compare with the PV module’s nominal data.
Equipped with a wireless remote unit, the MI 3114 measures irradiation and cell temperature. It also features a single auto-test function for executing all category one tests with one touch.
The tester’s large colour touch screen allows users to control, prepare, and start measurements, store results, and review or correct data, even for previously completed measurements. Standard and Pro sets are available.
