The Metrel MD 9880 True-RMS Thermal Multimeter is a combined infrared imager and electrical tester. Thermal imaging expands the multimeter’s scope-for-use; for instance, it can detect friction stress, thermal losses, and leaks.
The Metrel MD 9880 True-RMS Thermal Multimeter has a thermal resolution of 80x80px, a field-of-view of 21° x 21°, and a frame rate of 50Hz. It can measure temperatures between -20°C and +260°C to an accuracy of ±3°C/3%. Temperatures can be displayed in °C, °F or K; an on-camera cursor ensures that thermal images are easy to read. Additionally, the user can view thermal images in four different colour palettes.
